I have gone zip lining before, but Original Canopy Tour's cables, professional crew, and spectacular views of the canopy and the ocean exceeded all expectations! The crew was supremely well-equipped to move everyone through the course efficiently and safely. They were also great at capturing the journey on cell phone photos and videos, freeing our hands up. The course itself is well-designed in very tall trees and with spectacular cables through and over the canopy. There were a variety of views, from inside the canopy's layers, to over the top of the trees, to looking out over a valley to the sea. There is also good variety with swinging, rappelling, and climbing. A bit scary at first but quickly just thrilling! A great way to experience the dynamic life of the forest. Highly recommend!

We did it on our two day stay in Monteverde. Very nice we enjoy it , i thing it is too long - too many small short zip lines. But over all very good. I think it is not suitable for young kids under ten. They say from 6 it is ok ...

We planned 2 canopy tours while in Costa Rica. The first was in Arenal at Sky Adventures Canopy tour and our second the Original Canopy tour in Monteverde. We just completed the tour in Monteverde and all 5 of us (parents and 3 sons ages: 18,21,23) agreed this was a better experience. Sky Adventures was an adrenaline rush, while this made you appreciate the forest and its amazing trees. We all enjoyed the hike in the forest and the zip lines through the trees. The Tarzan swing was a great start to get you ready for the tour. We saw and heard Holler Monkeys while high up in a tree. Getting to climb inside a hollow tree was amazing and made this a truly memorable event. Our guides, David and Bryan were very organized and made sure we were all having a great time and moved us through the canopy at a pleasant pace.
