Absolutely loved this - it was one of my favorite points of my trip to Costa Rica. I went on 2 other zips (the Selvatura one and another some place else) and the original canopy tour was best. There was a short hike, and our guide told us about the area. Then the tarzan swing. Then the cables. Excellent! Climbing inside a tree... the most unique experience ever... loved it. A short rappel. Then a super long zip. Now, what makes it all better was that we did it at night time. And when you do the zips at night time, you can look up and see all the stars. Amazing. The night zip was not advertised on the website but we saw a poster about it in the hotel and decided to go. Well worth it!

The Original Canopy Tour was a great option for me since I'm a little afraid of heights. The groups are smaller (there were only 3 of us and 2 guides) and they build you up to longer lines. You start off with a Tarzan Swing, several lines and then a rappel down to the bottom of a strangler fig tree that you have to climb up with ropes and ladders. The last 2 lines are much longer (around 800 meters each) but at this point you're ready for a longer ride. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for some thrill and adventure.

We chose The Original Canopy Tour because all the others are very extreme and Disneyland-ish. First off, my partner is slightly afraid of heights so things like the 500 ft Tarzan Swing, the Superman zip line and the 1 km long zip line did not sound appealing. The OCT was perfect for us! We were with one other couple so the group worked out well. The guides were hilarious and very fun to have with us. They took pictures and videos of us the entire time with our own cameras so we did not have to worry about it. There are 15 lines, 1 rappel and a mini swing. The location was beautiful the tour went very smoothly and safely.
