We did the later afternoon tour with Ronald and Tuca. They were fun thoughtful and informative guides . I feel the procedures were safe . There was a mix of hiking, repelling and mostly zip lining. The Tarzan swing is optional , and we were glad we did it. The views are amazing . You can see all the way to the coast . You are literally at the top of the canopy . You are in the clouds ! We did see some exotic (to us) birds and a red squirrel . I would recommend this tour and do it again.

A group of friends and I decided to pick this place for their reasonable prices and ability to accommodate all experience levels. We were given lockers free of charge to keep our stuff in while we were out zip lining. The people explained all the safety equipment and procedures in English beforehand. We felt extremely safe the entire time and even though some of us were pretty nervous, the employees would joke around with us to calm our nerves. We thought we were only zip lining, but we also got to rappel, climb through a ficus tree, and go on a Tarzan swing! It was an absolutely incredible experience, definitely worth it!!

Although there are more adventures canopy tours in Monteverde we thought the original one was the best. In a small group of only our party of 11 we were calmly accompanied by three guides in our tour through the park. Tarzan swing, lots of ziplines, descending and climbing inside and outside of a large tree. All great experiences with great views over the jungle.
