This was by far the most adrenaline rushed tour we did in a long time. 10 amazing lines, the strong winds, the small platforms in the clouds, the views and the legendary Tarzan swing, made this one of the coolest tours in Costa Rica. The guides are very experienced, so you never feel unsafe. The longest line is 800m long and the views are breathtaking. The zip lines actually go above the canopy so it's absolutely amazing flying above the trees. Overall, this is highly recommended tour when in Monteverde. The canopy tour is $45/person for 2 hours in the clouds, but other packages are offered. However, additional tour are run by other companies not this one. The tour does provide the Hotel pick-up and drop off. Tips: 1. book a 7:30am tour if possible as it's smaller in size so not many people on very small platforms on top of the trees; 2. no need to bring any cameras (except GoPro) as you can not use them once in the clouds. They will take few pics of you for a fee ($10 per person) 3. there are lockers so you can leave all you stuff at the check-in station 4. Tarzan swing not as scary Special Thanks to David and Josue (our wonderful guides) for making the tour more enjoyable and fun. We truly felt safe with them.

The staffs are super friendly with our seven year old. The bigger kids had a lot of fun climbing the ladders through the hollow tree. The view is great and Tarzan swing is awesome. We’re picked at the hotel so the transportation is all taken care of.

If you want some really long zip lines along with optional tarzan swing, rope-drop, and a climb through a huge strangler ficus, there are plenty of options in Monte Verde. In fact, there are slightly longer ziplines to be had at other places. The Original Canopy Tour stands out because their zip lines are ACTUALLY IN THE TREE CANOPY!!! It's amazing, you zip from tree to tree via huge platforms that are nestled in the tree canopy which gives you a completely new view of the cloud forest. The zip lines get your adrenal pumping but also provide beautiful views of the surrounding area. In addition, the tour guides are friendly, fun, and have a big focus on safety. Each one also spoke flawless English, so there was never any confusion about how to stay safe. Last thing to mention, we had a FANTASTIC group on our tour. The age ranged from 20s to 60s, and everyone did just fine. We even had someone who is afraid of heights but they were in good hands with the tour guides, and finished every piece of the tour. All in all, this is THE zip line tour to do in Costa Rica!
