A castle rivaling those of Europe, built on the St. Lawrence River, in the heart of the 1000 Islands. However it was not to be, Mrs. Boldt passed away suddenly just months before the completion of the castle. Mr. Boldt was inconsolable and immediately stopped all construction on Heart Island, leaving the property vacant for over seventy years… The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority (TIBA), who owns and operates Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House, invite you to explore our website. We just wish we had more time at the castle. It will be really amazing when it is complete. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Anything we asked was answered and we felt they cared.

We did the 5 hour tour with Dennis and captain skip. We toured boldt castle and the rock island lighthouse. Dennis was excellent he spoke the entire time on the boat and was extremely informative. The tour came with a picnic lunch that was delicious. We had chicken fingers and mom and a blt. It came with chips, chocolate chip cookies and a drink. Very organized tour. The only downfall is we could have used more time at boldt castle. Other than that it was an amazing day!!! Highly recommend
