This is one of our favorite museums! Family of 4 definitely worth the money. Even our teenagers liked it since there wasn't as much reading, more interactive. Highly recommend this museum if you're in the area or even a nice drive from the falls.

Your review is exactly what we love hearing-especially the fact that the teens enjoyed the visit. Unfortunately, young people have for several decades found history to be uninteresting and irrelevant. When we reinvented the museum's interpretation more than a decade ago, we were purposeful in how we would tell our historic story in an inviting and approachable way-connecting the past to the present. Glad to know it seemed to work with your family. Many thanks! Stanton Hudson Executive Director

We learned a lot about Teddy through the tour and various wall displays throughout the house. We love old houses and the history behind them. So to tour an old house that has ties with a President was wonderful. I think we spent about an hour or so here. There is a small parking lot behind the house. There is an ally way on the right side of the house. You actually look like you are going to an ATM, but right passed the ATM is the parking lot. You can enter through the back of the house. They have a great interactive item at the end of the tour and then you are allowed to stay and read all the displays at your own leisure. Glad we came!

This was such a fun quick experience! We learned so much and the house and furniture was gorgeous. I think it would be a lot of fun with younger kids because there is an interactive feature at the end of the tour. Plus the staff were so nice. Really enjoyed ourselves.
