We booked for a three hour city tour. They picked us up from the Marriott in a ratty old bus that said Key West on it. Nothing about Gray Line. The PA speaker didn’t work properly so we only heard a bit of the live narration. We passengers started making up our own comic narration since we couldn’t hear anything. The upstairs interior of the bus was held together with duct tape. Seriously. It was clean but really shabby like it should have been retired long ago. We passed buildings that looked like landmarks but heard nothing about them. At the end, I was tired. But the bus stopped at the Bayside Marketplace and dropped off a bunch of people for the boat tour. They insisted we had to go on the boat tour. I didn’t want to go on the boat tour. I wanted to be taken back to my hotel. I half dozen other people also wanted to be taken back to our hotel. Even though more than three hours had a lobster, they said we had to wait there for hours before they would take us back. Then they had the nerve to put out a tip box. I always tip but really? After that? Finally after I called the office and complained they took me back to my hotel after I had to wait an hour for a new tour to start. Very disappointing this is not the gray line I was expecting.

The traffic in Downtown Miami is chaotic at the best of times so any pre-arranged pick up time is likely to be a little optimistic. So yes an hour after the pick up time we were picked up in an Uber (I think) and driven the 35 minutes to the start point in Miami Beach. The bus is your basic 20 seater which is Ok. The driver was definitely a local and provided the tour in Spanish and English which is a good effort. The tour itself(apart from the odd stop for a break and buying the local tourist wares) consisted of driving past notable land marks. So, when booking with Grayline this is the standard. So, if getting on and off a Bus is not your thing, suggest hire a car for the day and see the sights you really want to see. We were dropped off at the Marketplace which was close to our hotel.

I booked this tour one day ahead and started to call in to reconfirm my pick up address/time. At first few calls they let me hold (like 15 to 30 mins). still did not confirm until 4:42pm ( I've called them 8 times during different time period). and i called customer service, they said they can only send them email and wait their respond. The point is that the time already passed 5pm on Friday and the info shows that they should pick me up at 8:30 am in the morning on Saturday. I spend the whole afternoon to try to get this thing confirm. They still let me wait and couldn't give me refund if i cancel it. i have no choice except to wait. how could i make plans with everything including hotels. at 7:48 pm on Friday, Gray line Miami called me and told me they cannot pick me up since they only pick up at certain hotels. I said okay, then i requested to send the address to my email. The lady's voice sounds inpatient and the tone she was talking was sooooo TERRIBLE. Until right now 10:17 pm Friday, i still do not receive any address email yet (8:30 am tomorrow, I should be somewhere to wait for them to pick me up). They were not even listening to me. I'm so upset, this stupid thing ruined my whole Friday and Saturday and don't want to go this tour now. $40! just take it. I really don't want to waste my time but i am so pissed off you know...I am just saying what i went through this whole afternoon. Don't waste time and money. They don't take care of your situations and no responsibilities. no credit. I went through many tours in different states. This is the worst one in my life i swear.
