We toured the Titanic on the first night of our vacation in this area. The exhibit is well done and very educational. I was impressed. I was there with my grandkids and they all enjoyed it and learned from the experience. Having everyone have a passenger to identify with during the tour added a personal connection which made it more meaningful and memorable. I would recommend it.

This is a high-quality museum and is not like the other attractions in the area. It is very well done and presents a wide variety of topics and stories from the ship. There are many great elements that everyone will enjoy. The only downfall is the fact that you are unable to take photos in the museum. There are limited artifacts, but there are many great recreations of the ship, photos from construction, and an engaging audio tour. It took our group over 2 hours to complete, but I am sure you can take less time. Even with the guided audio tour, there is a fair amount of reading text to explain each display. If you can go later in the day, the crowds appear to be less heavy compared to mid-day or the morning.

I wish they would let you take pictures inside, I think you have to choose an entry time and I can understand why. It helps them control the crowds better. We had an early entry and are glad we did. They were quite crowded. They give you an audio guide that gives information about the various displays. It was weird because some of the displays aren't in order, so you might have trouble figuring out where the various numbers are. I knew a little about the Titanic, but learned so much more by the end of the tour. They give you a card with the name of one of the passengers, and it's cool to find out whether your person died or survived. This might be a hard attraction for children. There were several on the tour and they seemed to get uninterested after awhile. At times the line moved very slow, but once we got past the front it got better. That could have been because there was an Amish group in front of us who read all the displays instead of using the audio guides. Overall this is a great stop in Pigeon Forge and a great family activity if you are in the area.
