My 10 year old son is obsessed with all things Titanic. We happened to be in town for a summer vacation and I knew we had to surprise him. Yes, it is pricey, but it's well worth it in my opinion. Especially if you consider what you're going to pay for one of the dinner shows in town. Yes, there is a lot of reading, but it's all very interesting. We were in the museum for a little over two hours, and I would absolutely do it again. We were lucky enough to be able to see Wallace Hartley's violin while it was on temporary display. Even the 14 year old enjoyed it! Go check it out, you won't regret it!

I loved the whole experience. The museum shows how the ship was built, How the different class of people lived while on the trip and so much more. Nothing like the movie, of course. The grand staircase is breathtaking on how much work went into it. The story tells you who is who in the beginning to end of making this trip happen. So many pictures telling the story of different workers on the ship and telling the story right to the end when the ship went down.

This was an unexpected enjoyable outing. We were pleasantly surprised at the detail in this museum. It is very interesting, a lot to see and take in but very well done. We had a fairly large group of us and we were able to each go at own pace. We really liked the devices that are given out to each person so that each can hear the explanation of the exhibits at their own pace. We had some issues with one or two of the devices but they swapped them out readily with no issues. There is a lot to actually experience in the museum, things that one doesn’t really think about until it is actually put in front of you as was done here. Our group really enjoyed it. I recommend going when you are not in a hurry so you can take as much time as needed. I would definitely recommend this museum!
