The Toa Luau came highly recommended and totally lived up to and exceeded our expectations! The setting was fantastic. After a hike and swim in the Waimea Valley Falls we joined up with the Toa luau festivities. Our party of 9 consisted of teens and adults. The cultural exchange was laced with fun jokes and banter but all the showcased cultural demonstrations were spot on. We were able to get close up and personal with what was going on. The cast were amazing, taking part in nearly every aspect of the evenings festivities. Even before the formal show started we were impressed. We purchased the VIP seating but the venue is small enough that it probably isn’t necessary. We loved the personal greeting of the MC and being personally invited to go join the buffet line. Every aspect of the evening made us feel like we were honored guests. The food was amazing. Although not a huge menu the meat was cooked to perfection. All in all you won’t go wrong with this venue.

I struggled over the choice of which luau to pick. So glad I chose this one. The gardens and swimming in the waterfall was fun. (The waterfall can be a little tricky to get in. You have to climb over rocks and be able to climb back out). We really appreciated the shuttle ride back at the end of the “walk”. The luau was top notch. Very entertaining and informative. From the coconut tree climbing to fire throwing— and, I expected to see a typical hula, but there was lots of dancing and fire throwing! The food was delicious and the staff treated us just like cousins😁 Mahalo!

I read reviews on every Luau on Oahu & based on that, picked Toa. It exceeded all of our expectations! We thoroughly enjoyed every part of it! The beautiful Waimea Valley is an ideal spot for a traditional, authentic Luau, much more real & intimate than the huge city Luaus with a thousand people. Toa limits the attendance to about 200 people, so it never felt crowded or rushed. The staff & the performers were amazing! The dancers & the fire handlers - WOW! The food was yummy & plentiful, also.
