Come hungry and wear comfy shoes because we cover a lot of ground - 2 miles walking . Be entertained by a friendly local guide as you explore the city's natural riverfront beauty and amazing architecture while learning about its rich history. Enjoy 5 of Cincinnati's favorite foods. Throw in a streetcar ride, an historic urban market, beautiful parks and you'll be ready to put down roots!
All food, transportation and a 3 hour guided tour is included.
Foods may include a Belgium waffle, a Cincinnati chili dog, Graeter’s raspberry chocolate chip ice cream, German goetta, a French macaron or a homemade cookie from the Market. Findlay Market is closed on Mon. Alternate tastings are provided.

National Underground Railroad Freedom Center

We see a piece of history from the Cold War in an outdoor memorial area.

Fountain Square

We enjoy ice cream on the plaza

Carew Tower

We step inside the lobby of the Carew Tower to hear the history.

Contemporary Arts Center

We point our the CAC and share the story of it's famous architect.

Over-the-Rhine

We stroll the historic neighborhood, pointing our the architecture, outdoor murals and fascinating history.

We stroll through the park to catch the streetcar

Findlay Market

We have our final tasting at the market and tour the market before returning to our starting point. Please note: Findlay Market is closed on Mondays, therefore we enjoy the sample of goetta along with the waffle at The Taste of Belgium Bistro.

Our guide Dave was informative and engaging. The Cincinnati style chili and the "goetta" were especially tasty and local.

Great tour, exceeded my expectations!! Not just a food tour, though the local food specialties (OMG Gaeter's Ice Cream!!) were a fun and interesting aspect; we got a great overview of the city and it's history from our excellent guide David!! Who knew Cincinnati was such a storied and cool place to visit? We came for the baseball, but will be back to experience a lot more. Easy walking and tram rides to sites, food and neighborhoods was just right for the time allotted and never a dull moment. David was a perfect guide; knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Take this tour to kick off a visit to Cincinnati; you won't regret it!!

Jackie was one of the most informative guides we have ever had the pleasure of touring with! We were in Cincinnati for a wedding and that was the only reason we came. But after learning so much about the city and its history, I am so glad we made the trip! And then of course…the food!! At the end, Jackie asked us to name our favorite, and very few could just give one! The portions were not simply tastes, but certainly enough to fill any size eater in a matter of 3 hours.
