Overview

Experience the highlights of Astoria with our guided tour! Our guided transportation tour offers an overview of the town, providing insight into its rich history, famous landmarks, historic homes, and movie scenes. We'll also show you the best shops, restaurants, and upcoming events, and recommend eateries, museums, and additional tours to explore. Additionally, we provide pamphlets with in-depth details to satisfy your curiosity. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, allowing you to thoroughly indulge your interests.

Our pickup time is 9 AM, unless it's a cruise day. On cruise days, we pick up one hour after the ship docks. I will make sure to send a text the day before and when I'm on my way. Pickup times may vary and could be after 10 AM, depending on the number of places we need to pick up from, as Onward Adventures picks up from multiple locations.

Astoria Column

At this 125-foot Column, you will see the fantastic views, listen to the history, smell the coastal air, and take in the challenge of climbing the stairs. People leave this place feeling light, breathing in the accomplishments of yesterday's and today's challenges.

Flavel House Museum

Walk the grounds, see the carriage house and maybe visit the inside of the home.

Oregon Film Museum

Get your photo taken with the Goonies jeep, visit the guest store for your favorite Goonie collection

Fort Astoria

see the Fort read the history, see a Rhododendron tree over 100 years old

Goonies House

Walk up the street to Mikey's house, take a photo

Hanthorn Cannery Museum

Watch the ships, sunsets, and sea lions at the 147 year old Hanthorn Cannery, on the Columbia River. Walk through the free Museum, Visit Vineside Wine Bar, Coffee Girl, Rogue Brewery and some fun shops with lots of Goonie Gear.

I saw and learned an incredible amount about Astoria in a short period of time. I would have seen and learned less than 20% if I went on my own. Katie, the tour guide and owner takes pride in providing a quality personalized tour. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive to my pre-tour questions. George

Had a GREAT time on the tour. Very interesting seeing all the homes and buildings used in movie shoots. Also enjoyed the Film Museum.
