The Tour of The Freedom Trail by the Histrionic Academy is the best way to see Boston. You will meet your costumed guide in the Boston Common and hear about Boston's inspiring history. Following the freedom trail past several historic sites guests will be amazed by the stories of America's Founding Fathers, the American Revolution and New England's Colonial History. This walking tour Follows the Freedom Trail for approximately 1.2 miles from the Boston Common to Faneuil Hall.

Spend the $15 bucks. Otherwise, you end up walking the trail with a modern day mindset rather than being transported back in time with a terrific storyteller who will bring to the present the events of the past.

We just had an amazing tour with Caitlin Johnston. Not only is she a great speaker, bringing to life the era and the events with a sense of humor and attention to nuances, it's clear she is a true historian that's done a lot of research. Her tour was very informative and entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed it despite the heat! And props to Ms. Johnston for wearing the full costume while giving the full hour and half speech in 90 degrees!

Caitlin is an excellent historical guide. Her knowledge is impressive as she is able to speak to all the points on freedom trail and information tying them together. Plus more on Boston itself. Friendly and positive attitude made for fun experience. You can't do better.
