My daughter (age 11) and my wife completed courses 1-3. My son and I completed courses 1-4 and opted to skip course 5. I think the course 3 may have actually been a bit more difficult than course 4 only because of the optional rope swing into the cargo net. This obstacle was required if you wanted to complete course 5. I believe this was because there are multiple cargo nets on that course. We completed the day with the 650' zipline. The whole family had a great time. This took us about 4.5 hours and course 5 might have added another 45 minutes. The time includes arrival, filling out forms, get fitted for gear, watching the safety/instructional video and completing a training course under the supervision of a guide. The guides were very attentive and helpful through all of the courses. They would shout suggestions on how to more easily complete various sections of the courses and were quick to respond when someone was having more extreme difficulties. I strongly recommend gloves whether you bring your own or purchase them from TreeUmph. The unlimited bottles of water were also needed even if you think they may be a bit pricey. We had a great time and I would love to return someday to conquer course 5!

Brought my 11 year old and did the "adult" course. The staff was friendly, attentive and very helpful. Nice little 15 minutes training video and they have you go through a small sample course with a guide to insure all questions are answered and you are ready for the big stuff. My son loved it! For parents with kids who like a thrill and you want to get them away from their phone. One word of caution. It is RAIN OR SHINE and they mean it. It was pouring rain and my son and I where up in the trees. You are not allowed to come down, take a break and wait for the rain to stop. You go through each course in order. No shame in quitting and a guide will be happy to lower you down with a rope in pulley (actually pretty fun in itself). Also, get the gloves or bring some, they will save your hands.

Hello! Thanks for your review! We are so happy that you and your son were able to make adventurous memories in our treetops. You are correct, we are a rain or shine activity. Often times, the rain is welcome to cool off from the Florida heat! Thanks again for your review, we hope to see you both again soon! Cheers!

50 year old dad with 14 year old son. Been three times before - son summited for third time in a row, me the first time! Very big thanks to the guide on the summit who gave me the tips for success today. Hint to avoid long delays is to book the first climb of the day so not too many (or any) are in front of you on the course. Early start helps with the temperatures too. That all said, if you're going for the summit endurance is key, so taking that bit longer is good to keep you fresh - it's a marathon, not a sprint. Buy the water package so you can keep hydrated on the course; gloves are a must, bring your own or buy first time you do the course and bring back for the future. Enjoy - well worth the money, a great (but exhausting) half day out.

Hello! Thanks for your review! We are so glad to hear that you have had multiple adventures with us. Congratulations on completing Summit! Only about 10% of our guests complete it, it is certainly a challenge! That's a great reminder that our earliest adventures are the best way to avoid heat and crowds. Thanks again for your visit and your review, we can't wait to see you conquer Summit again! Cheers!
