Everything that I read about Treeumph! made it sound like a great adventure for my children and me. Nowhere in the literature did it express that you should be in good athletic shape to complete the courses. In fact, everything I read made it seem as if anyone could easily complete the courses. However, that was far from the reality of the "adventure". We barely got through 2 courses with many slips, falls, cuts, and bruises. The guides ensure you that they will be there to help you, but they neglect to mention that if you ask for help, then you are removed from completing any more of the course, despite what you paid for. The guides are also very strict with their safety rules. I understand why, but they only give you 2 chances to follow all their rules before they remove you from any further courses. The other issue is that the rope course is located in Myakka Park. As a result, the weather is highly humid and stifling hot even at 9 am in the morning. The park is also infested with insects and both my children and myself were rudely reprimanded by a staff member for applying bug spray because it might somehow contaminate Treeumph!'s harnesses. All in all, it was an overly expensive adventure that left one of my children with heat stroke and all of us with bumps, bruises, and sore muscles after only being able to complete 2 of the 5 courses.
