My and I have been to treeumph many times. It's a lot of fun and good exercise. Our only complaint is the length of time spent on the safety video and practice course. They are able to look us up when we book our reservations, so we are in their system. There should be an express version of the safety and practice briefing for return visitors. That would save some time, which would be great.

Oh wait...have I said I LOVE this place?! So much fun! You start out getting fitted into a harness, watch a quick video on safety and then you complete a little mini element on how to attach your carabiners to the cables and ride the zip lines. There are a total of 5 courses and at any point you can stop if you don't feel comfortable. The course starts on course one and you gradually move higher as the course goes on! Tons of different obstacles...log swings, rings, cargo nets, log tunnels, suspended climbing walls, many zip lines, the list goes on! There is even a skateboard element you use to move across the course. At the end their is a really great zip line that travel quite aways! We have gone here many times with our 3 teenage boys and we have all completed all 5 courses. If your a pretty fit family you can expect the entire course to take about 1.5 hours. If they are really busy it could take longer. We like to do their early bird specials and then we are done and ready to go eat lunch! Worth the money and time!!!!! You will talk about this memory forever...

Hello! Thank you for your return visits and for taking the time to write a detailed review. Way to go to your entire family for completing all five courses, including Summit, as that is a great accomplishment! I am so thrilled that you all enjoy your time here and feel it is well worth the investment. We have the pleasure of watching families, friends, and loved ones make forever memories here on a daily basis and it's awesome! Thanks again for the recommendation and we look forward to seeing you all next time. -Ashley M.

When we woke up to a steady drizzle the morning of our scheduled TreeUmph! Adventure Course tour, we were afraid it would be cancelled. I called to find out, but the TreeUmph! folks reassured me we could climb rain or shine. So we headed over to the park and checked in, then got all fitted out in our climbing gear. Our guides buckled, strapped, cinched, checked, and double-checked all our harnesses to ensure they were properly fitted. Then we watched a brief safety video before heading out to the course, which covers 10 football fields in size and is comprised of 76 treetop obstacles from beginner to extreme, including wobbly bridges, hanging nets, Tarzan ropes, and much, much more. The park is built to the highest safety standards in the industry. They use a double-carabiner system to keep climbers secured and strictly enforce age limits, to further reduce the risk of human error. I totally understand and appreciate this policy. Unfortunately, it meant our six-year-old missed the age cut off by a couple of months and was not allowed to climb, even on the children’s course. Mom was much less disappointed by that fact than our daughter was. It gave her a good excuse to sit in the van (out of the rain), where we stayed warm and dry and on the ground! Ha! Later, when the skies cleared and the sun came out, we went exploring and took a few photos of all our monkeys in the trees. The weather ended up being PERFECT, and since the earlier rains frightened off the crowds, there was hardly any waiting in line. Our younger boys, ages nine and eleven, were only allowed on the first three courses, so once those were completed, Dad called it quits, too. Our older teens, however, persevered through all five courses and the triumphant 650-foot long zip-line finish, despite being warned that most climbers are unable to finish the last two courses. Those were extremely challenging and required a lot of strenuous work. The girls were especially proud (and maybe even a little surprised) that they were able to stick with it to the end. Our family made great memories at TreeUmph, and our six-year-old is already lobbying to go back once she turns seven. She doesn’t want to miss out on all the fun her siblings had in the treetops. If you decide to try it out, we recommend visiting on a weekday. It’s less crowded then, and you can save 10% by using the promotion code USFG
