I'll start by saying this our driver did an exceptional job under the conditions. We were in JT on October 19 with enough other tourists to make NYC look like a ghost town. JT was gridlocked. The last mile into the center of town took 1 hour. We were on the 1:30 tour. Our driver had to fight traffic for most of the tour but he kept us occupied with his commentary, music and sing-alongs. He was most accommodating, had a positive attitude and is a tribute to his company. I'm believe they appreciate how much good will he creates. The least interesting parts of the tour were visits to a Corp of Engineers lake made for flood control and the attendant campgrounds and Lehigh Gorge State Park. Maybe these would have been more interesting were the trees a little more vibrant; maybe the were added for the weekend to get out of the traffic jams and the mass in humans in town. For me, the most interesting part was the visit to the JT memorial. Our driver was very knowledgeable of JT's life and whether or no you're a sports fan that man's life was incredibly interesting. Overall, I would recommend this tour should you be in the area.

The tour guide was very upbeat and informative. We loved learning the local history while enjoying the beautiful fall foliage. Jim Thorpe is definitely a sweet spot for a day trip. Looking forward to going back.
