Train tour was shortened to 45 min for peak leaf season. It was not worth it in my opinion. The trolley was excellent and would highly recommend it. We learned about Jim Thorpe, the old jail, churches. The driver we had was excellent I can't remember his name, but his wife was selling Italian goodies outside the information center. We could not do online reservations it first came first serve. We were there early enough others were being turned away because they were sold out. If you tour the town on foot, it is up hill one way and down the other.

We had a great time. It was educational and a fun way to see the surrounding area and learn the history of Jim Thorpe. Music was played during tour and between information which created a welcoming atmosphere. You will enjoy it!
