Phil is an amazing tour guide. He talks about how he was amish during childhood and how him and his father were never shunned because the decision to leave was not theirs. He still helps the amish by taxiing them whenever needed. One reviewer said they wanted to see an amish village, but there really aren't anymore amish villages. There are families that together on a farm or near the farm. You really don't see much of the parents because they are working or tending to the home. The kids run some of the stuff that we saw and they are friendly and answer questions. Thank you Phil for an awesome experience!

Our tour guide Phil was probably the most interesting tour guide I had ever experienced. He did not miss any small details relating to the Lancaster area. The city tour was fantastic. Saw all of the historical buildings and one of the most beautiful churches I had ever seen. All of our questions were answered in detail. Having grown up around the Amish as neighbors and the Mennonites as well gave him a very inside look at their lifestyle and their traditions. I wanted it to go on even longer, as it was that interesting! I would highly recommend this tour to any of my family members and friends. So worth the money! Thank you Phil for a great experience.

Outstanding tour guide Phil shared his personal experiences growing up in the community. He is passionate, knowledgeable, and gifted presenter. Phil met us at the parking garage and we walked around the town square before boarding the van. Bring your camera/phone, but be sensitive about photographing the people. Ice cream was delicious and the two new calves at the farm were great. At the end of the tour, he dropped us off right at the parking garage. Tour would be great for families, groups, kids.
