Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

I visited Key Largo for diving over the Labor Day weekend. Anya from Scuba Fun helped me booking the dive trips and a hotel (Seafarer Resort), all very helpful and with minimal hassle. She also gave me pointers where to go for dinner etc. Once there, I had three great diving trips, with three different boats. The guides, Dan and Tanya, were incredibly helpful and entertaining, showing us around the reefs and the wrecks (Benwood, Spiegel Grove). I'm still a bit of a rookie and they explained a lot, always relaxed. They shot a lot of pictures under water and shared them with me afterwards, for a great memory of the experience. Let's hope they ride out the Hurricane well - I'd love to come back to Key Largo sometime soon!

Guide was super friendly, showed us a lot. Boat was not overcrowded as others are. Would definately dive with them again.

we went scuba diving with the Scuba Fun team in May 2017. the staff was very friendly, flexible and very responsive. they are a smaller outfit and make arrangements to use other boats - it is a very good model if you are open minded that you are not going with a really big operation. we would definitely dive with them again.
