My son, TJ and I headed down to Key Largo for our first "real" dive since we completed our open water certification. We selected Scuba Fun after researching their dive/hotel packages. We selected the Holiday Inn which we found very satisfactory. In terms of Scuba Fun, both of our guides, Rafael and Matt were experienced divers and made sure we were safe and enjoyed the experience. Rafael was determined to find a shark as that was my sons number one wish. He navigated the reef perfectly until we finally spotted a large, nurse shark. Awesome. They use another company that owns the boat that actually takes you out. The boat was packed but the crew set everything up perfectly. We had to assemble all of equipment but our Scuba Fun guides double checked everything. Again, I felt safe and in good hands. I also thought the quality of the Scuba shop extras like defogger, shirts, hats etc... was excellent and fairly priced. We picked up some great tee shirts and other stuff. They had a GoPro holder which we purchased and they insisted we go down to Divers Direct down the street to purchase a red filter for the lens. What an excellent suggestion. The video quality improved 100%. We are already thinking about using Scuba Fun for our advanced open water certification so we can enjoy the ship wreck dives they highly recommended.

It was my first time I had been to Key Largo to dive and I was connected to Scuba-Fun Dive center through my hotel. When we got to the dive center we were greeted by a woman named Anya from the start she was very rude, blunt and just unpleasant. Although she was very knowledgeable, she talked down to us and to her staff member to the point I was about to leave but didn't know the area well enough to find another place quick enough. I even asked the instructor Matt if she was his mother. However, after we arrived at the dive boat Sea Dwellers it was great from then on everybody from the captain to the mate to the Scuba Dive Center instructors were great. Scuba diving in the Key Largo Reefs was great, my daughter was only cleared for snorkeling but she had a lot of fun. So if you are going to use this particular dive center try it on Anya's day off and if not for her I would of given the center a rating of excellent.

Went to the shop to book a dive for the next day. The owner couldn't be bothered to answer the most basic questions. Didn't even get out of her chair. I was left to do the only thing I could, walk out and take my business elsewhere.
