Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

Coming highly recommended from Underwater Safaris in Chicago - a friend and I came to get open water certified and really had no expectations to be fulfilled because everything is so new, but this shop blew us away. From start to finish our experience was a great one. Our instructor, Dan, was a perfect fit both professionally and personally. He knew the reef system and it's inhabitants extremely well and we never felt rushed while doing the instructional portion of our visit. Everyone at the dive shop was able to recommend places to eat and things to see. Another thing to note is that the equipment we rented (half suit, BCD, reg) were all in new or like new condition. I noticed on the dive boat that others renting equipment seemed to have sub par equipment. I guess this isn't a huge deal, but I'd prefer new to old. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

We went for the weeken with my husband and our kids. Anya, Rafael, Jef and Dan were just great from the start. We did a refresher course followed by 2 dives on Saturday, and then Sunday morning 2 additional dives. People from the ship were very attentive and helpful. Dan was our guide, he was knowledgeable of the reefs and wreck we visited. He also provided instruction, when we needed! He took great photos of our dives and gave us the link to later download!!! Prices were affordable, comoared to other dive shops in the area. This was a lot of fun thanks to all these guys!!! We'll definitevilley be coming back for more.
