Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

We planned to spend two days diving at Key Largo during our Florida-Vacation. I sheduled 4 Dives and a Discover Course for our son in advance. We have had a nice E-Mail conversation with Carsten who made best fitting recommendations for our schedule. I have been diving in the Carribeans and on German Aidaluna cruiseship but never have been equipped with such valuable stuff as at Scuba Fun. They offer guides who accompany you during your dives which is very useful for beginners due to the straight and narrow timetable on an American Diveboat. Anya, the owner and the other stuffmembers have been nice and helpful during our complete stay and made the dive-experience stress-free and convenient. Our son did not made it to attend the Disover Course finally due to a serious cold and Anya did not charge us the costs. Awesome service. Whenever we will be back at Key Largo, we will come back to Scuba Fun. Thanks a lot, guys!

We did a referesher course in the morning and started of with 2 diving sessions on the reefs in the afternoon. The dive master Carsten did an outstanding job getting us up to speed again and Yasmin showed us the beauties of the reefs. At Minnow Caves we dived through caverns with fish swarms. The next day we went of with the boat to a ship wreck. Scuba Fun evaluated the situation and guided us to a different spot where no other divers had been at all. At the French Reef then we entered the water and saw a shark hidding under a cliff. The dive master showed us the diverse sea life with morays, crayfish and a lot of other living things I don't know the name of. She made sure that everybody got the most out of the dive. We went to the wreck afterwards and it was a blast without being crowded at all. Overall the organization and return for money was great. Scuba Fun gave you the feeling from the first minute on to be one of them. This outstanding PADI dive station gets my highest ranking.

Efficient check in procedure, great instructor for our refresher course. Made it fun and easy. Half the day weathered off but they were so apologetic, as if it was their fault, and refunded half the course money. Were honest about the conditions and didn't try to just take our money like other dive centres in the area (captains slates for example - best avoid!) and tried their best to reschedule our dives. Would recommend them for refresher courses. Nice staff, especially Carston.
