Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

The owner was nice and it is great that she speaks German. Her website was impressive. All but one day of our scheduled dives had good enough weather to go out. So I don't have much to go on. We never actually dived with this shop. We were put onto a different companies boat that was a terrible experience for us. I paid for 4 dives and could only do one of them. I would not book with Scuba Fun again because I wouldn't know who I would end up diving with.

Hi Kandee, I'm so sorry you didn't have a great experience with us. However, this is one of those cases where you didn't inform us, acted like everything was great after your dives and were all smiles, and waited to express your concern in this forum instead of adressing them directly with us. We could have easily put you on another boat in the afternoon, but decided to keep you on the same boat for both trips so you would not have to move boats. Has we only KNOWN we could have so easily made this better in so many ways... Please be fair to the next dive shop you go to and tell them directly if there is something you are not happy with, it is so much easier and nicer for everybody when there is a chance to remedy. :-)

We booked a "Discover Scuba" and refresher course for the family thru Anya a couple weeks prior to our arrival. We went by the shop a day early to get everyone fitted and details sorted out. The next day we had our pool session in the morning, followed by a two tank dive on Molasses Reef that afternoon. Tanya and Daniel worked out the bugs, and helped out as dive guides, on probably one of the best dives I've been on. The entire family had a great experience, and we had so much marine life, and excellent conditions for an awesome day. I would recommend this to families who want the ultimate experience together.

We can highly recommend this dive center to anyone looking to do some scuba diving in Key Largo - no matter what skill level. Anya took great care of us with arranging the dives and even made it possible to rearrange a booked trip to the next day due to weather conditions. Our guide Tanya was very knowledgeable, professional and fun and took fantastic care of our group of divers. They even brought all the gear right to the boat and picked it up afterwards so we did not have to do anything other than enjoy our time on the boat and under water. Also we received lots of recommendations from Anya on other activities to do around Key Largo which was very helpful. We would like to say a big Thank You to Anya and Tanya for a great day out in & under the water around Key Largo. We will be back <3 !
