Where to begin...Driver was late and not responding to calls from the (very professional) gentleman that met us at the log cabin. Driver was hard of hearing, instead of asking clients to repeat themselves, he waved his hand and ignored us. We didn't stop at all the places that were promised. He gave us very little information, but told us stories about himself. He took off his headset, the back of the van couldn't hear him. Driver took us to stops and did not get out to show us anything or give us other information...meanwhile, other tours were having a blast with their very informative tour guide. On the road at Portage our group spotted a Moose crossing the river with her 2 babies, we all begged and shouted at him to stop...he was either ignoring us (again) or couldn't here 6 people yelling at him. Took us on a detour to Girdwood to see the Jade factory, which he couldn't find. When a member of our crew spotted it, we found out it was closed. Driver drove off, so our Girdwood detour was a drive thru one street, no info, no pictures, nothing. Driver literally did not speak the entire way back...but we did get to listen to his crappy folk music blasting. The duration of the trip down to Portage had us listening to him go on and on about how we should have taken a different tour...no crap. Oh, and did mention he is a terrible driver? Our group discussed reporting to REDDI. I cannot count the number of times he crossed the center line and then jerked the wheel back. Maybe he was still asleep, as he looked as if he just rolled out of bed, having slept in his clothes from the previous day. Do not go on this tour. Do not spend your money or allow anyone you care about to spend their money with this group. To the gentleman who met us at the log cabin. You have talent, professionalism, and charisma...my advice to you...get out! You deserve better.

A good way to get around without being in a slow large group. Gives flexibility too and our driver was very informative and helpful.
