Highly recommend Tropical Guides & Outfitters. Chris was an awesome guide and we had a fantastic time. Chris got us efficiently set-up with our gear and safety precautions. He then took us out on a beautiful paddle where we saw and heard whales sing (wow!). My daughter mentioned she loved turtles, so he took us to a great little snorkel spot where we saw 5 turtles! While we snorkeled, Chris took photos underwater of us and the turtles, fish, etc. The photos are so cool (and digital downloads are free!).

I highly recommend this tour with Chris. Starts off with Chris giving you a quick lesson on Kayak safety and what to expect out on the tour. He also walks you through the various species of fish and marine life that you might encounter during the tour. Chris paid special attention to the small things - type of sunscreen, fresh water, rules and regulations, and how to safely interact with marine life, which showcased his deep respect for the sea life. He also enthralled us with Hawaii culture and history, and narrating the different aspects of history during the tour. During the snorkel tour, he pointed us to the spots where we had a bunch of sea turtles and corals. He also took great photographs and pointed out different marine species. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone heading to Maui, and I will definitely go back for another tour with Chris from Tropical Guides And Outfitters because the quality of this tour was par excellent. Mahalo Chris!
