The boat tour was a truly wonderful experience. We saw ospreys, pelicans, a manatee, kingfisher and terns. We were provided binoculars/monoculars during the tour. Don was our captain and was very knowledgeable of the wildlife in the area. We loved that he took special care to not disturb the birds and animals. It does get a little chilly over the water so carry a light jacket, also sunglasses or a hat. Would highly recommend if you’re ever in the area.

Captain Don was very personable. He confidently navigated us through the 10,000 islands. Dolphins swam in our wake, a spinner shark did a twirl for our enjoyment. A loggerhead tortoise swam past us as we made our way to a peninsula with many white pelicans. We visited a mangrove Island once inhabited by Calusa Indians.

Captain Don was amazing! The most intelligent, informative tour guide we have ever experienced. Not only did we see incredible wildlife we learned about their habitat and how to recognize them. He was also very knowledgeable about the Calussa history.
