Everglades National Park
Everglades Area Tours' National Park 2 Hour Dolphin, Birding and Wildlife Tours is a great option for those with limited time and is also a great introduction to the area. The entire Everglades area, including Everglades National Park, is a wonderful place for to view dolphins. With over 300 species of birds throughout the year, it is the only Park that was established for its biological and ecological considerations rather than its geological features. However, most of the 1.5 million acres in the Park are flooded and essentially out of reach for the average visitor. Everglades Area Tours can you take you to areas seldom reached by others. In comfortable captain's style seating, you will be safely brought deep into Everglades National Park's 10,000 Islands for an interpretive tour with your naturalist guide. Depending on the season, you can expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as, numerous species of fish and shore birds. Not only will you be introduced to the wonderful birding and wildlife in the area, you will also learn about the Everglades ecosystems, it rich heritage and long history. We limit each experience to six guests, so you can expect an intimate experience in the wilderness. Don't forget your cameras, hats, sunblock and drinks

Truly a FANTASTIC experience with Don our tour guide. Very very informative. Saw unbelievable birds, fish, dolphins up close and personal, white pelicans!, and mangrove trees and islands. Can't thank Everglades National Park Dolphin, Birding, and Wildlife Boat Tour for this experience. Remember to wear sun screen and sunglasses. And wear a sweatshirt, SOMETHING to keep you warm on the water. 78 degrees today, and we took the 1:30 tour, but on the water, we should have had sweatshirts! Our bad! :) We're from Utah, and we'd do this tour again when we come back to Miami. Legitimate, locals running this. Not touristy at all. Just a wonderful experience. Don, we can't thank you enough for this experience today. We smiled, we were floored, we are just so grateful for being part of your beautiful ecosystem in the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida Everglades, and the 10,000 islands! Gosh! Such a comfortable boat! Comfortable, wonderful ride. And the best tour guide. Thanks for all your knowledge, and hope you got great pics of that bird trying to eat a catfish! WE LOVED IT! (Oh, and Havana's Cafe is a great place to stop for lunch, right there by where you park and get on a gold cart to the very close-by boat!)

Our guide Don was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. It was nice to be able to take out time and leisurely cruise around the islands and mangroves. It was a small group and very relaxing. The guide got a group of dolphins to follow in our wake. Well worth it!
