Overview

Extended Horizons dives the Lana’i coastline in small groups of 4 or less. No other dive shop has such amazingly low ratios of dive guide to diver. Lanai is famous for it’s Cathedral Dives, swim-throughs, archways, and lava structures. We dive both First and Second Cathedral on a regular basis. Many divers agree that Lanai diving has the greatest diversity and marine life density, to rival all other diving locations in Hawaii.
Our tour is guided by certified Naturalists and marine biologists. We go SLOW so you see more.
This is a two tank boat trip. We do two dives, at two locations. There are over 40 dives sites to choose from, ranging from beautiful coral reefs, to unique lava tubes, making these dives the best of your vacation!
Between dives we have a warm lunch catered by Chef Marcos from Hungry Coyote. Homemade meals to keep you satisfied.

Minimum age 12.
Must be certified Open Water diver or higher to participate in these scuba dives.

Knowledgeable and experienced team led our 2 tank dive off Lanai. Even with challenging ocean conditions they set us up in two different locations and we had a great time. Small group of four divers per Dive Master so they were able to take the time to show us rare and unique reef inhabitants only found in Maui. Dive boat has been running on biodiesel before it was cool and their office/shop is completely solar powered. Completely different experience being on a small boat in a small group. This wasn't my first dive with Extended Horizons and I will definitely dive with them again.

Eric and his staff were great! I dove two different days (from the boat). The staff, Maren, Emma and Rachel were great, professional, personable and made the diving fun! It was easy to communicate with Eric beforehand and meeting up at the boat ramp was easy and not stressful. The diving was great, loved First Cathedral! They were very accommodating to all levels of divers and let those who were able to have longer dive times because of air consumption enjoy the full dives! Would 100% recommend this business!

The island experienced a southern swell while we were there so our diving options were limited but Extended Horizons helped salvage our Scuba experience. Many sites were off limits due to the swell. Our Captain Erik was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we had a wonderful time. He knew just were to go to give us a great two tank dive but to also protect us from the current. Our dive instructor Emma was terrific and her knowledge of the marine life we saw really enhanced the experience. First class shop that was safe, instructive and conservation focused. Great experience!!
