What To Expect

U Street

Our tour will take place predominantly along the U St corridor, which is rich with history. We'll stop in several places between restaurants to share the history and culture of this diverse neighborhood.

Lincoln Theatre

We'll stop outside of Lincoln Theater and speak briefly about the history of the building and events that have happened there.

African American Civil War Memorial Museum

We'll point out the African American Civil War Memorial, outside of the Civil War Museum. We encourage everyone to return and explore the memorial and the museum on your own time.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Very disappointing experience. We booked our tour way ahead to be sure to don't miss this. And then just a week before Blue Fern Travel just cancelled our booking. No explanation, no alternatives, nothing. This is not the way to handle this. Go shame yourself Blue Fern Travel Team!

As a small business, we are still experiencing some challenges that are being felt through tourism and travel...and the world. Trust me, we are frustrated too! When we send a cancel through Viator, the booking site you used, they work to provide alternative dates, as we do have different tours and days available and they have access to our live schedule. Could not have loved it more! Amazing food, Ben’s, Hareshas, Colada cafe and jubilee ice cream - all off the chart! The history and art were spectacular but the best part was Jason- so kind, patient, knowledgeable and gregarious! Highly recommend!!

Someka gave us a wonderful tour of the history & food of U St. My dad & I had an awesome time, learned a lot & ate a ton of delicious food! I would highly recommend this tour!
