It was just what was offered. The chili was spicy and I wish there would’ve been the ability to order from a limited menu (Especially at the Cuban & Ethiopian restaurants.

Thank you so much for your feedback, Audra! We carefully curate our tastings for our tours so that we can ensure that DC's history is the perfect counterpoint to its incredible flavors. Plus, by not overwhelming our guests with too many tasty options, they get the opportunity to want to visit locally-owned businesses even more, which we love. Thanks again for your review and we hope to see you around Colada Shop or Habesha Market!

Jason was an exceptional Guide. His passion, historical exactness and communication style made this the best tour of my life. I would strongly encourage others to take this tour in DC. It was a 5 star experience.

Jason obviously loves his job as tour guide! He waited on and bussed our tables to support the restaurant staff during the busy lunch hour. Everyone was genuinely happy to see him in each location. (It was a welcoming feeling.) He provided a great balance between local history and food history. (In fact, on U Street the food IS part of the history, and he seamlessly wove it all together.) Jason also carried extra water bottles for guests on that hot day. My husband & I very much enjoyed this tour & highly recommend it.
