Overview

Our Exclusive VIP whale watching tours are 2 hours long with a maximum of 12 guests. Our small groups make every seat a front row seat as you enjoy whale watching and educational talks from our marine naturalist onboard. Our inflatable rafting vessels are safe, travel quickly to find whales and a fun ride for the whole family.

See Humpback Whales that have traveled 3000 miles from Alaska to give birth and mate in a the protected Maui Nui sanctuary off Lahaina where the waters are known for being warm and calm. On our whale watches we could travel anywhere from 2 to 10 miles from Lahaina harbor, often encountering dolphins in addition to humpback whales. Guarantee whale sightings Dec-April, or go again for FREE!

We are locally owned and operated since 1982 and every ticket supports our participation in marine research projects and our role as certified first responders to whale entanglements.

Nick and Heather and then a second trip with Amy and Hannah were absolutely amazing! Just when you think whale watching can’t get better, it does. Wonderful experiences, different each time. I highly recommend Ultimate Whale Watch.

Our 3-hour whale watching tour with Captain Gabe and Hannah was excellent! They were both enthusiastic and eager to create the best whale experience possible...and they did. We had 3 hours of non stop whale interaction. Of course this was due mostly to the tolerance and curiosity of the whales, but Gabe and Hannah were as excited as we were and eagerly used all their knowledge to make our experience unforgettable. We took our first whale watching trip expecting to see a whale or two from a distance. We were so wrong! For 3 hours we had multiple whales under and next to our boat, ‘standing’ to get a good look at us, swimming under our boat and up to the sides. Hannah told us there are estimated to be @10,000 whales visiting Hawaii each year. That’s very believable! What an excellent trip and an unforgettable experience.
