I booked a tour recently for my family (Reservation was under the name Huggett). The tour size was the perfect size, which made for a pleasant tour. Our tour guide Austin was very friendly, making small talk with the group while waiting for the tour to begin. Austin was very knowledgeable about the location and the stories he told were informative and fun. Austin was really good at balancing history and paranormal. He gave us time to take photos and directed us as to where would be the best place to point our cameras. We did the extended tour, and was very happy with extra information we received. I would highly suggest this tour and especially Austin as your guide if you want to ensure a great experience.

This tour was basically walking through darkened streets and stopping in front of a few different buildings in Williamsburg that were so dark you couldn’t see any details of the house and then listening to a college age tour guide who told stories about different hauntings while describing the ghosts as saying things like “screw this” before they proceeded to haunt the house. Then our guide ended each story quoting song lyrics, like “Splish-splash I was taking a bath,” after relaying a story about a ghost taking a bath. It really detracted from the entire ambience. We were disappointed with the whole experience, and I would not recommend this ghost tour.
