Tour Waimea Canyon, dubbed by Mark Twain as the " Grand Canyon of the Pacific." Although Mark Twain never visited the island, he must have seen enough of it to judge the unparalleled grandeur of this famous Kauai landmark. It is truly a spectacular sight. Mount Waialeale is known as the wettest spot on earth with an average annual rainfall of approximately 450 inches. Most of the mountain rain drains into the nearby Alakai Swamp, home to several rare species of plants and birds. Wailua Falls is also known as Fantasy Island Waterfalls for their cameo appearance weekly in the TV series of the same name. The legendary Na Pali Coast, with its dramatic cliffs chiseled by time and remote beaches is spellbinding no matter how many times you see it. This is the home of the legendary Bali Hai as seen in the 20th Century Fox movie, South Pacific.

Awesome ride! Our pilot Bogarde was great as was the ground staff. Hotel pickup a plus. A one hour tour that will be a lifetime memory. We toured four islands but this ride in Kauai really stands out.

I believe this is the only helicopter tour service that offers free pickup and drop-off from a list of selected hotels. Bogart, our pilot, is a retired military pilot and flies the helicopter effortlessly while providing a running commentary of the scene in front of us. Probably one thing that would help the audio is to cut out the background music - I mean it does cut off when anyone speaks through the provided headset microphone but still it does not not add value when no one is speaking. The front seat by the right window is the best followed by the middle front seat and then the two window seats in the rear. I'd hate to be one to be sitting in the rear middle seat. The ride takes 45 minutes. Forget trying to capture photo or video using any hand-held device - too much turbulence that causes the hands to shake. Best is to use a go-pro attached to the head or shell out an additional $60 for a video shot by the helicopter cameras - you get a thumb drive containing the video.

Flying around Kauai in an helicopter is as great as it sounds! Spectacular sceneries and amazing experience. We were very cramped in the helicopter though and the back seats for sure had a totally different experience from the front. The back middle seats were much less enjoyable. I would recommend to choose a company that states clearly that there are no middle seats, or that allows up to 4 people on the vehicle
