Tour Waimea Canyon, dubbed by Mark Twain as the " Grand Canyon of the Pacific." Although Mark Twain never visited the island, he must have seen enough of it to judge the unparalleled grandeur of this famous Kauai landmark. It is truly a spectacular sight. Mount Waialeale is known as the wettest spot on earth with an average annual rainfall of approximately 450 inches. Most of the mountain rain drains into the nearby Alakai Swamp, home to several rare species of plants and birds. Wailua Falls is also known as Fantasy Island Waterfalls for their cameo appearance weekly in the TV series of the same name. The legendary Na Pali Coast, with its dramatic cliffs chiseled by time and remote beaches is spellbinding no matter how many times you see it. This is the home of the legendary Bali Hai as seen in the 20th Century Fox movie, South Pacific.

Had a spectacular 50 minute tour of Kauai from our pilot Wayne. He has loads of experience ( over 25,000 hours). He shared his local knowledge with all 5 passengers. Pick up at our condo was included in price and driver, Primo, was very friendly. Trip was not scary at all and toured NaPali coast, Waimea Canyon, Princeville, Hanalea Bay as well as many other areas. Saw over 100 waterfalls of the 10,000 on Kauai. Excellent ride!

I went on a flight with sunshine helicopters yesterday: it was my very first time in a helicopter! I’ll admit I was a bit nervous at first, but they were very attentive, they had a thorough safety meeting ahead of time, and we had a very experienced pilot. The flight itself was exhilarating, breathtaking, and enjoyable. We saw at least five rainbows, countless waterfalls, and the stunning coastline. We flew through the canyons that are only accessible in this way. (From the air.) We learned all kind of interesting information while seeing these beautiful sites. I highly recommend this company and the helicopter tour of Kauai!

My coworker recommended this company and I'm glad he did. Prior to taking any helicopter tours it's always wise to research any recent accidents and there overall track record. Sunshine: Amazing staff from the office to the driver and lastly the pilot. Pilot: Wayne, friendly, informative. Got a lot of his flight experience from teaching. I like the fact that he played music during the flight cause after a while I zoned out from the the information and just enjoyed the tour. Clothing: wear dark clothing. Ppl showed up in some Hawaiian prints and was disappointed that there was a reflection in the glass. Plane set up: 6 passengers, 2 in front and 4 in the back. They weigh you at the office for accuracy, do skip lunch for last. Get there early, sometimes the entire flight payed standard price and as mentioned on 4 can sit in the back, so 2 lucky individuals can be upgraded to the front. Just ask if anyone booked the front, if not seeing yout are first to check in if you can be upgraded. The front seat is the best seat in the house. They take a photo prior to boarding, but the printer is messed up and everyone looks dark. Carry a flash drive so you can save the pic and print/ adjust on your own. I think it's $15 fit the pic and $30 for the frame and pic. There is also a video of the tour, but if you sit in the back you are barely seen and the focus is on the 2 ppl sitting in the front. GPS wil lead you to the office which is in a mall for safety debriefing, then they take you in a bus/ van to the airport. We truly enjoyed the experience, please note due to a recent helicopter crash with fatalities if the weather is crapy (raining/poor visibility) they will cancel/ reschedule your tour. Safety first!
