We had a good time but if I were to critique any part it would be for the tour guides to stay on topic. There was a 20 min rant on present issues with the city. It felt as if they were pitching for 3CDC. It was obvious everyone was annoyed but he kept going. Then we didn't get to see the subway routes. There were only two places that were actually underground. That being said, what we did experience was an interesting way to learn about our city.

We had such a great time doing the underground tour with our guide John, He was very knowledgeable and fun. This tour takes you to some very unique places in over the rhine that you wouldn't otherwise have access to. I've also done the Gangster Tour with John which was very interesting. American Legacy Tours is such a great company that does so much good for our city.

I've been on two tours with American Legacy--the Newport Gangster tour and the Cincinnati Underground tour. We moved here a few years ago and still don't know much about the city. The Underground tour was GREAT. The two guides we had were funny and informative, and I learned a lot about what life was like in OTR. I would be willing to go on this tour again with friends or visiting relatives. The Gangster tour was ok. It started out with a PowerPoint presentation (Underground tour didn't), and even though it was interesting, it wasn't as good as the first one. A lot of the locations we talked about are gone now, where in OTR the buildings are still there. It was a lot easier to imagine life in OTR vs. life in Newport. So this tour was good for a one time thing, but I wouldn't bring anyone back to it.
