Kawika was the most amazing tour guide I've ever encountered. He had the inside scoop on all the locations along the way, and he had obviously both studied and lived in the area. The vibe in the van was amazing. Kawika went the extra mile to make sure that we stayed safe and had a great time, even connecting us to local vendors who offered what we were looking for. Our time at Hana Bay put the icing on the cake. We hope that we get to ride with Kawika next time we go to Maui!

I do not think that I can rate the Ultimate Road to Hana accurately because, we paid for the tour, but we did not do the road to Hana on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. We were at the beginning of the road when it started to rain heavily. Our tour guide said it was not safe to keep going. He offered to reimburse our money or take us to some alternate sites. We agreed to continue with alternate sites. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional. While we agreed to alternate sites (undefined), I do not think that the alternate sites merited what we paid for the tour. If I knew what I know now, I would just have asked for a refund.
