We did the Road to Hana on Monday with Chris and it exceeded our expectations! He made several stops and gave us invaluable information for a couple of history buffs. In addition, we were able to swim in 2 different waterfalls, where he made us feel comfortable and safe at all times. He gave exceptional attention to all his guests and we would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone. Ours was a full island tour. They confirmed our reservation when we made it on the mainland and again the day before the tour, thus alleviating our concern as to whether we would be picked up or not, which is something most of us are concerned about when we are unfamiliar with a particular tour group.

My family of six was blessed with tickets to Hana. Walter was the tourist and driver. I must say Walter has phenomenal driving skills, a comedian, great multitasker and great memory (history of Hana). This is a tour that most will enjoy. The views are unforgettable. Walter has wonderful driving skills. Which is a must in my book when taking a tour around mountains! Walter provided breakfast (donuts and a drink), Dinner (full meal and drink), snack (chips and drink), and we had the opportunity to purchase ice cream or food at a food truck. Shaved ice-cream is to die for. Bathroom breaks were perfect timing. The sites that Walter chose to stopped at for viewing was relevant and perfect to all ages and sex that were on the tour. We all had a blast and was exulted when we arrived at the resort. If you are going to Mauii it will be worth your time and money to spend a day with Walter on the road to Hana.

We took this tour in Maui adter having done it in Oahu. There is no way that I could have driven Hana and enjoyed the sites. Some parts of the drive is very steep and narrow, at times only 1 vehicle at a time. John our guide and driver was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. When we hot to the waterfall. even though I can't swim. John took me under the falls on HIS BACK and brought me back across. That is a memory I will cherish.
