We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Federal Donuts, Dotties Donuts, Beilers Doughnuts and more.

Our guide was awesome, we basically had a great wall through the city and the parks learning history and seeing landmarks while chomping down on some lovely hand made donuts . Highly recommended

Visiting Philly with a friend who REALLY loves donuts. She has been known to go way out of her way for a good donut. So, this seemed like a perfect way to spend a couple of hours. We had a great time - our tour guide, Alana, was fun and engaging. Plus, we had some delicious donuts along the way. Personally, I would have preferred to do this earlier in the day - maybe at 9 or 10, rather than at lunch time. Not sure why the tour runs 11-1, rather than say 9-11, but that's just me. I do wish that we could choose our donuts at each stop. Our group was pretty small, and it would not have been a big deal. At our first stop, Federal Donuts, there were many more interesting options than what we tried. Certainly, it would have been more challenging for each group member to select their own donut if we had a larger group of people, given the time constraints. The tour ran the full two hours, and there wouldn't have been enough time for a larger group to individually choose donuts - so I understand, but still...... Seeing all of those beautiful options at Federal, and then not having even one of them was a bit disappointing. One of the biggest surprises was Dottie's Donuts. We had a raspberry jam donut with a lemon poppyseed glaze that was AMAZING. But here again, there was a Boston Creme calling out to us, but we didn't get to try it. All in all, definitely a different & fun way to tour the city, getting a bit of history along with our sugar rush.

Come with comfortable shoes and an appetite! We really enjoyed the amazing donuts, obviously, but we also had fun hearing about Philadelphia history from our guide and guide-in-training as we walked from spot to spot. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn more about the city while also taking in its sweet treats!
