This is a private tour that leaves from the Kentucky Horse Park and offers an intimate look at local horse farm up close and personal with the wonderful race horses. Sam grew up in the horse business and gives a lot of info about the business. We had a wonderful tour of a small farm. Sam is terrific. We will be talking about this experience for a long time.

Unique Horse Farm Tours At the horse park is a separate tour to horse farms. It is worth the money! Hope you get driver Shawn he's the best... he will answer any questions, gives good info., great stories, inside info. but also lets you have time to take photos and just enjoy the wonderful view of the farm and horses. We went in June and it was the perfect time to see lots of foals in the barns and fields. This rare opportunity lets you see some of the most important horses to set foot on a racetrack up close. We took a van that is more like a mini bus with big windows to see out. Two peope to a seat. So no worries of being crowded into some small van. It was also a nice ride to just see the farms in the area and not have to be driving. Shawn did all the driving and my husband and myself just enjoyed. Here is some info. for you 15 seat passenger van. Tours depart at 9:15 am, 12:15 pm and 3:15 pm daily from the Visitor Information Center.
