Stayed at the Sapphire Falls, great choice, and easy access to the parks by boat. Purchased a 3-day pass and for 2 of us around $600.
June 8th was the first of 3 days. Was nice having a ticket where we could bounce back and forth between the two for 3-days.
Just opened I believe a few days prior. May have been a bit more chaotic..so new for everyone and having to deal with COVID. Precautions were taken everywhere....everyone was masked up and hand sanitizer at every turn.
I have not been to Universal since they first opened...so yes, things have defiantly changed. We did enjoy the parks being quiet, with the heat and having to wear a mask, at times it got a little overwhelming.
Many attractions have very little wait times, so nice. The downfall of COVID, parks closed early (I believe there was a curfew in effect also). We are huge Disney people and night time is the best...so we were looking forward to all the lights of the evening hours. No parades and much of the other entertainment was canceled. But still, much to do and see. As time goes...I am sure more this will open
This was a last-minute trip, because all of our other choices kept on getting canceled. I did not get to do any research in this area...but I am still glad we got to see and enjoy Universal.
My only real "huge" gripe. and this pertains to attraction anywhere....WHY do you feel the need to charge SO much for water.... I know you have fountains. ...but warm water and not the best tasting 😞.

Thank you so much for your helpful tip for our future Guests about safety in the parks, and I will make sure to share the candid pricing feedback about our water options.
