We did the Upper Pigeon with our three kids, ages 15, 18 and 21. They had never rafted before and this was a perfect first experience. It was challenging enough to get the adrenaline going but not too out of hand for first timers or for 50 year olds like my husband and I. Matthew was our tour guide and he was great. He had a lot of experience and we always felt safe with him. We would definitely recommend River Rat and Matthew to everyone!

We loved our white water rafting trip! Taz was our guide and made sure we hit each rapid juuuust right! 15/10 would recommend River Rats and Taz for your upper Pigeon River rafting adventure. We will be back.

Madison and Helena were absolutely fantastic and made most of our first time rafting a memory we’ll never forget. They were so funny and overall great people to spend time with!! The ride was so fun and a perfect balance a rough rapids, calming landscapes, and swimming. We felt completely safe with our tour and felt like our tour guides were very well trained. Would 100% do it again!!
