Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

Very fun rafting trip. Not life threatening in the least. Class 3 and 4 with smooth spots as well. Just enough to be fun and keep the guide engaged. There were literally dozens of boats on the river at once from several companies. Don't expect a private tour. A few fell out of their boats on the class 4s but were fished out quickly as each of the rapids didn't last long and plenty of boats to pluck them out.

Had a blast!!! First time white water rafting for me. Our vacation consisted of "on a whim" for locations and things to do. Josh was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable (12 years worth). Thanks for a great time!

Signed up for the Upper Pigeon trip and when you book online you can save $12 per person code was (MC12) (so def check into that). Our guide was Cory he was great, he was frustrated when no one listened to what he was saying and we (the crew) had to learn the hard way as 3 people went overboard and scooped back in with no issues. Once we listened it was smooth sailing well as smmoth as class3 & 4 rapids. You get to a point where you can jump out of the boat and swim a little. You will enjoy it so much that you will want to do it again asap. We tried to book another trip that day and they were booked. Def do this and I can't speak for the other guides but Cory was excellent and very nice!
