Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

What a great way to spend a few hours enjoying mother nature. There were four in our group and we thoroughly enjoyed our rafting trip. Our guide, Lane, was awesome and she made the trip enjoyable with her in-depth knowledge of the area and river. The trip was great and we could not have asked for anything more. Everyone should make this a part of their Smoky Mountain vacation.

McClure was our guide and we had a great time even on the less rapid part of the river. We were in a raft with my 4 year old and my dad! The sights were beautiful and there were rapids that gave us a little fun in the meantime. One of the highlights of our trip! We went on a rainy day and it actually was a great day to go! Didn’t feel like we had a wasted day from the weather!

The Lower Pigeon is alot of fun for families with young children, and we say there is nothing better than to go rafting on a rainy day. You are going to get wet anyway! Come back and see us!
