Excellent. My husband is a history buff and really enjoyed the tour. The timing of 2 hours was correct. It took us 2.5 due to him wanting to spend extra time reviewing the Tuskegee overview.

When you visit this memorial park, do plan to stay the whole day!. We did plan to stay the whole day but Mobile was so blazing hot that day that we had to leave early. The main attraction was the USS Alabama which was a WW2 era battleship which saw action in the Pacific. Across the park grounds, you can also visit the USS Drum which also saw action in the Pacific theatre. But there's more! The entrance fee enables you to visit WW2 era military planes, and helicopters (after WW2). The park also has a gift shop but wi-fi unfortunately was non-existent. For those of you who planned to take Uber back to your hotel, this will be difficult. But Taxi Cab Howard is available around the clock! Just give him a call.

My family and I stopped here on the way home from a beach trip in Florida. We’ve always seen the battleship in the distance as we’ve driven to the beach in the past and have wanted to stop and tour it for quite some time. The price of admission was only $4 and it gained us entry to the battleship, submarine, airplane museum and more. Our kids were absolutely thrilled to go into these incredible and historic ships. We easily could’ve spent hours just in the battleship alone but we were on a bit of a time crunch so we plan on going back! There are several areas in the battleship that are air conditioned and the views from the deck are amazing. The airplane museum has a simulator inside which I highly recommend. Our kids were blown away by it. The submarine had so much that we didn’t see because of our limited time but what we did see was so neat. Surprisingly, the gift shop had fairly priced, quality items. Everyone we came in contact with who worked in this area seemed to really like their jobs and enjoyed the history of it. I am looking forward to going back again! Highly recommend!
