Since there are no escort tours available at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, we encourage visitors to take the USS Arizona Memorial Deluxe Tour. This incredible package includes the use of smart phone/headsets upon check in. First let Jamie Lee Curtis, guide you through the Visitor Center’s two world class museums, with narration aboard the Memorial and throughout the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Hear firsthand from actual USS Arizona and Pearl Harbor Survivors as they retell their stories and retrace the events of Dec 7, 1941. Only this Deluxe Tours allows visitors exclusive access, via the smart phone, to the National Park Service’s WWII archives and videos on the attack at Pearl Harbor.

USS Arizona Memorial

Air Raid Pearl Harbor This VR Experience provides the timeline of the attack and places you on the deck of the USS Utah, one of the battleships destroyed on that Sunday morning, December 7, 1941. Three minutes after the first wave of Japanese war planes arrived at Pearl Harbor, a message was sent that would resonate through history: “Air Raid Pearl Harbor, This is no Drill.”

We love history so this was wonderful to visit and experience more firsthand. Highly recommend for anyone of any age. Don't miss the Mighty Mo and other tours that are available.

Spent entire day from 8.00am to 5.00pm at the Pearl Harbour Memorial including a the Delue Tour of the visitors centre and the USS Missouri battleship guided tour. Really needed a second day to the submarine and airfield tours but ran out of time (we will do these the next time we are in Hawaii). The Missouri was fantastic and even my kids loved it (girls 10 & 13) although lots of ladders so not suitable for small kids, the elderly or mobility impaired. The Deluxe tour of the Visitors Centre included a Virtual Reallity session of the Pearl Harbour attack which the kids loved although my wife and I felt a little motion sickness (but still worthwhile). The Visitors Centre provided smart phones with headsets which gave a great narrative to every display. Unfortunately the actual Arrizona memorial is under repair so we only sailed around it on a navy boat but still very moving. We intend to return once it is repaired.
