What To Expect

Valley of Fire State Park

Keep your eyes peeled for Native American petroglyphs throughout the park and learn about the many Native American cultures who made the Valley of Fire their home. You’ll also see the famous Atlatl Rock, Elephant Rock and Rainbow Vista before you venture into the petrified sand dunes of Fire Canyon. Short hike at Mouse's Tank.

Valley of Fire is definitely worth the trip. Only an hour or so drive out of Vegas, so plenty of time out of the vehicle and time to wonder at the scenery and stroll around the stopping points. We did afternoon, so really enjoyed the sunset. Driver / guide was disappointing. Had no amplification, so we in second row could hardly hear, and those at the back had no chance. Not that the driver had anything useful or informative to say. Very disappointing. We believe that the Company does have driver / guides who are rated highly, so make sure they are your hosts when you go.

Definitely recommend this guided tours. Ita, our guide was personable, and took good care of us. There was plenty of water available and we stopped for snacks before and after the desert. I felt safe and really enjoyed my time. The canyon was BEAUTIFUL. Ita took us to so many different areas. My parents came with as well, so doing this together will be a lifelong memory and I couldn’t be happier with our experience!

The entire trip was exceptional and our guide, nate, was great at his job both speaking and driving and knowing what he was talking about. I tried to post pictures but they would not go through after I tried five times I gave up!
