Out Guide was wonderful and we lucked out with the really great folks that joined us. We signed up for the moderate hike and the other folks were more advanced than us but they were very nice and our guide let them go up rocks if they wanted while we stayed on trail. If you get in with people that don't want to compromise it will be an issue

I was inspired to visit Valley of Fire State Park by my co-worker, who raved about the breathtaking beauty of this park. I had actually scheduled a trip to Hawaii but given the resurgent COVID-19 situation and concerns, I changed my plans to visit some of the natural wonders of the Southwest. I was fortunate to have been able to book a moderate hike tour with Love Hikes for a Thursday morning in mid-September. Roberta was able to book and confirm my tour two days prior. Since I was staying in Mesquite, I was still able to meet up with the tour van in Moapa. The guide, Sarah, was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. We were given ample time to explore and take pictures. Sarah took the other hiker and I to some rather stunning sites and vistas including a slot canyon. Extra water and snacks were provided. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking to explore Valley of Fire without all the crowds.

First and foremost our hike was made wonderful by "Max" our tour guide who was experienced, knowledgeable, courteous and charming. We safely hiked through several areas of beautiful and interesting terrain. We were set on seeing some Longhorn sheep and were not disappointed. We came upon a small herd at the end of our last trek. If you want an enjoyable hike at any level of expereience book it with LoveHiks and ask for Max.
