Marvel at petrified wood and 3,000-year-old American Indian petroglyphs as you take an easy, moderate or difficult guided hike through Nevada's oldest state park. During your 4-, 5- or 6-hour tour, you'll also pass through the Moapa River Indian Reservation and catch sight of Lake Mead. This small-group tour is limited to 13 people to ensure more personalized attention from your guide.

If you would like to guarantee the tour's departure there is a $35 fee payable on the date of travel, this will make the tour non-refundable.

Did the moderate morning tour with our Amazing guide Matthew! He is awesome, knowledgeable and cool! There’s only 5 people including him on the tour and he modified our tour based on our skills. It is more like a freelance hike. He took some pictures for us so we don’t have to do selfie. And he took excellent pictures too! Exceeded my expectations… provided us plenty of snacks with water and Gatorade. We bought our own hydro flask with water to keep the water cold. Memorable experience indeed!!!

My husband and I with two adult children thoroughly enjoyed our “medium” hike with Sarah in the Valley of the Fire. She picked us up on time and drove us an hour to the State park, stopping once for a rest stop. She also had plenty of snacks and Cold drinks for us. The hike was about 2 plus hours in the desert - climbing rocky hills. She was knowledgeable of the geological aspects and the fauna. She paced the hike well since two us are in our sixties. The landscape for us East coasters was stunning. Well worth the trip!

We did the medium hike. Our guide Sarah was beyond fabulous! Some of the climbs were a bit tougher than I expected and she was a pro all the way helping me climb the rocks. Would I do this hike again? Absolutely! It was beautiful and again the company and Sarah were great to work with!
