What To Expect

The Beehives

The first stop on this tour is at the Beehives Rock Formation! See the rocks that look like large beehives and take some photos on the rocks with your guide.

Atlatl Rock

Stop off at Atlatl Rock where, thousands of years ago, indigenous people created mysterious artwork that is still visible today. Walk up the staircase to get an up close look of these ancient petroglyphs.

Rainbow Vista

Your next stop is at Rainbow Vista where you'll be able to see different colored rocks. This picturesque stop boasts the beautiful colored rocks with great photo ops!

White Domes Trail

Travel to White Domes Trailhead where you'll see people hiking in the park! Your guide will determine whether or not to eat lunch at White Domes or at the Cabins.

Elephant Rock

See the famous rock formation that looks like an elephant - Elephant Rock. Walk up on the rocks to grab a photo of this amazing formation. After stopping off at Elephant Rock, make your way to the Cabins inside the Park to see the old structures.

We were with Gerry and he was a super guide! We loved every minute of our tour. Gerry was explaining everything and was very attentive to us. A must do activity, especially in April, while the desert is in flowers! Thank you Gerry, thank you Pink Jeep. The most comfortable way to do a tour, with their luxury jeeps! Highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of doing this tour on June 12, 2019 and I m so glad we went with this option. There were only five people in our group. The Trekker was so comfortable, clean and a great way. Our guide, Jerry, was absolutely incredible!! He had so much knowledge on the area and was always concerned with our well being. He was so much more than I expected and really does his job well. I plan on booking more Pink Jeep tours in the future based on this great experience!

Our tour guide Ken was excellent. I was picked up at 8:30am from my hotel and returned at 3pm. They have a comfort stop about 45 minutes after leaving for the tour for coffee, snacks, bathroom break, etc. They provide lots of bottle water, drink plenty and stay hydrated. We had several opportunities to walk and some great photo opportunities. The lunch is very good, I had a ham sandwich. We saw the Balancing Rock, cabins built by the CCC back in the 1930’s, and picture drawings on the rocks. Also, we saw some Bighorn Sheep and some of us took some great photos. Mine were okay. We visited the park visitor center. They had flushing toilets there and running water. Most locations in the park have neither. I take antibacterial wipes with me. We had some cloud cover, but it was pretty hot, 100 Fahrenheit.
